Privacy Policy

In this Privacy Policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website. We collect and process personal data exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR; Telecommunications Act 2003).

Purpose of the Website

Our website is intended solely for the non-binding presentation of our product under development, “Sleep Phase,” as well as for providing blog posts on the topic of sleep. No products or services are sold. You only have the option to contact us via our contact form.

When you, as a user, access or visit our website, your IP address as well as the start and end of the session are recorded. This is technically necessary and constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Contacting Us

If you contact us via the contact form on our website or by email, we collect the data you provide, including your name and email address, in order to process your inquiry and respond to any follow-up questions. We store this data for six months. We do not share this data without your consent.

Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies, which are small text files placed on your device via your browser. They cause no harm. We use cookies to make our offering user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them; they allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit. If you do not want this, you can configure your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and to allow this only on a case-by-case basis. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website.

We use technically necessary cookies (e.g., a session ID). Additionally, after your explicit consent via our cookie banner, we may activate analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics) to create anonymous usage statistics. We do not use marketing cookies unless explicitly mentioned.

Online Advertising & Conversion Tracking

Google Ads Conversion Tracking & Remarketing
Our website uses Google Ads by Google Ireland Ltd. (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to measure the success of advertising campaigns and to re-engage interested visitors (remarketing). With your consent, a cookie (IDE, _gcl_au, etc.) will be stored on your device during your visit. These cookies allow Google to understand which ads led to which actions on our website.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; §165 TKG 2021). You can withdraw your consent at any time via our cookie banner or disable ads at https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated. Data may be transferred to servers of Google LLC in the USA. Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR are in place.

Cookies remain active until you withdraw consent or are deleted after 180 days at the latest.
